At Acacia Homes our philosophy is "Working TOGETHER to Build YOUR Dreams". We don't consider you as "just another client" and your home as "just another construction site". We understand building a home is the single largest investment both financially and emotionally that you will ever make and our goal is to make it the most enjoyable experience as well. We treat every client as if they were our only client, giving them unparallel service and customer care from Design right through to Warranty.

Our home building process includes the following stages:

Planning and Design Stage:
A meeting is arranged with you to discuss your ideas, concepts, specifications, and review any pictures or drawings you may have. For acreage homes this includes a site visit to review possible home locations to maximize views and lot conditions. From this information a preliminary budget and specifications will be completed and presented to you.

Upon approval of the preliminary budget and specifications, a Design Agreement will be entered into and you will be introduced to our Designer who will work closely with you and Acacia Homes to design your new home. Once the home design is complete, the Specifications will be updated and a finalized budget will be determined using our detailed estimating software program. The final price and Specifications will be presented to you.

Building Stage:
Your Building Permit and Architectural Approvals are applied for and we commence construction of your new home. During this stage, we schedule and inspect the work in progress using comprehensive scheduling and inspection forms designed by Acacia Homes. These inspection forms are In addition to the required inspections by a building inspector and are completed at each stage of construction.

During this stage several site visits are schedule with you to review the progress of construction and to review the construction of your home.

Upon Completion of your home, we will complete 2 inspections, a Pre-occupancy Inspection and Final Inspection prior to you moving into your new Home. During the Pre-occupancy Inspection any minor deficiencies will be noted as well as you will be provided with an orientation of the various mechanical components of your home. Deficiencies noted during the Pre-occupancy Inspection are addressed prior to the Final Inspection at Possession.

Warranty Stage:
We offer a one year "bumper to bumper" warranty as well as a five year structural warranty (offered through the Alberta New Home Warranty Program). At the end of the first year, your home is covered by the product Manufacturer’s Warranty. During the first year, one month, six month and twelve month warranty inspections are scheduled to address any concerns you may have.
